K-Pop Key Chain Privacy Policy
Effective October 8, 2026 · kpopkeychains.generationkorean.com and the K-Pop Key Chain app
K-Pop Key Chain lets you type words you love and turns them into a Korean charm phrase on a virtual embroidered key chain. We built it to collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- The words you type when you tap Cast spell. They are sent to our server, which matches them against our built-in phrase library or asks an AI service to write your charm phrase, and the phrase is sent back to you. We do not save your words or your phrase.
- Basic technical data such as your IP address, which our web server receives with every request. We use it only to limit how many spells can be requested per minute. It is kept for about one minute for that purpose and in standard server logs kept by our hosting provider.
What we don't collect
- No accounts, names, email addresses, contacts, photos or location.
- No advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, and no selling of data.
- Your key chain designs, images and GIFs are created on your device. They are not uploaded to us. When you share or save one, it goes only where you choose.
AI provider
When AI writing is turned on, charm phrases are written by Google's Gemini models through the Gemini API. Your typed words (and nothing else about you) are sent to Google to produce the phrase. If we use Google's free tier, Google may use that content to improve its products; on the paid tier it does not. See Gemini API terms and Google's privacy policy. If AI writing is off or unavailable, phrases come from the library built into the app, and nothing is sent to any AI service.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Please don't type personal information, like full names or addresses, into the app.
Changes and contact
